Do you believe in physiotherapy? We do!

It is an important medical discipline that aims to improve the body's functioning, relieve pain, and restore or maintain mobility. Function is the most important factor for good health. A movement performed correctly makes us healthy. There are many reasons why I believe in physiotherapy:

1. Evidence based practices: Physiotherapy is based on scientific findings and proven methods. Many treatments and exercises are supported by studies and clinical experience.

2. Holistic approach: Physiotherapists view the body as a whole. They consider not only the symptoms, but also the underlying causes of complaints or injuries. Neighboring joints should always be taken into account as well.

3. Individualized treatment: Every person is different. Physiotherapists adapt their treatment plans to the specific needs and health condition of each individual patient.

4. Promoting self healing: Physiotherapy often focuses on empowering patients to actively participate in their own recovery. This can happen through exercises, movement recommendations, and self care education, which also helps achieve long term, sustainable results.

5. Wide range of applications: Physiotherapy can be used for a variety of conditions, whether for rehabilitation after injuries, pain relief for chronic conditions, or improving mobility in neurological issues. It can also achieve effective prevention. Fundamentally, every patient should be able to expand their knowledge and independence regarding their own body through physiotherapy, which again contributes to long term, sustainable outcomes.

Overall, physiotherapy offers a non invasive and often highly effective way to improve health and enhance quality of life.
