Raphaël Kohlprath

About me

As someone from Lower Valais and a mountaineer myself, I focus closely on the needs of my patients. Personal, straightforward care is very important to me. My main goal as an orthopedic surgeon is a pain free, fully functional joint, so that my patients can return to the activities they love. "La mécanique du corps" has fascinated me ever since my studies.

In addition to my work at the practice and in the hospital, I am active within the Swiss Army as Chief Medical Officer of the "Patrouille des Glaciers". Getting to know and helping people has always been central to me, whether as a former Boy Scout or now as a physician and officer. Originally from the Valais Alps, I have fallen in love with the Bern region. This means I know both sides of our beautiful mountains.
